Enfield Water Network Extension
Uisce Éireann upgraded the water network at Enfield to support future growth and development in the area.
The works involved the installation of over 400m of new water mains and is part of a project to improve the capacity of the existing water network and operational performance in the area.
The section of works took place from the intersection of New Road / Dublin Road, near Na Fianna GAA Club, as far as the R148 roundabout.
This project was delivered to support existing and future developments within the community. It improved the capacity of the existing water network in the area, improving performance and reducing demands on the current network.
The works were carried out on behalf of Uisce Éireann by GMC Utilities Group Ltd. and were completed by the end of Q1 2024.
What were the benefits of the works?
The benefits of these water network works included:
