Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section

Water supply is returning to normal levels after Uisce Éireann crews successfully completed repairs to a burst water main on the Bennettsbridge Public Water Supply Scheme.

The repairs were necessary due to a significant burst in the water main that supplies Bennettsbridge, Dungarvan, Danesfort, Kells, Stoneyford, Dunnamaggin, Knocktopher, Ballyhale, and surrounding areas.

Shane Aylward, Uisce Éireann’s Operations Manager, stated, “Our crews worked throughout the night, and repairs were finished in the early hours of the morning. Normal water supply has been restored for the majority of customers; however, those at the end of the network may experience a delay as the network recharges. I want to thank the community for their continued patience and urge everyone to conserve water as supply returns.”

Vulnerable customers who have registered with Uisce Éireann will receive direct communications regarding both planned and unplanned outages lasting more than four hours.
