Water supply returning for customers in Clonmel

Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section

Water production has resumed at the Monroe Water Treatment Plant, and supply is being restored to customers in Clonmel and surrounding areas who may have experienced low pressure or outages following an electrical issue at the plant earlier this morning.

It can take 2-3 hours for normal water supply to return as the network refills and even longer for customers at the end of the line. Customers are being asked to be mindful of their water usage and to allow supply to catch up with demand.

Uisce Éireann’s Operations Manager, Pierce Faherty said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused and would like to thank the community for their patience and understanding while crews worked to restore supply to impacted areas.”
