Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section

Uisce Éireann crews are continuing to work today to resolve a technical issue at Carrignavar Pump Station which may result in low pressure or a disruption to supply for customers, particularly in elevated areas.

Approximately 600 customers in the Carrignavar area may be affected as technicians work to resolve the matter.

Alternative water supplies will become available at 3pm this afternoon, Sunday, 14 December, in the form of bulk tankers, which can be accessed outside the old primary school, Scoil An Athar Tadhg, Carrignavar T34 N276.

Customers are reminded to use their own containers when taking water from tankers and to boil water before consumption as a precautionary measure.

Uisce Éireann’s John Sheahan assured those affected that a team is working at the plant to resolve the issue and every effort is being made to restore a normal water supply as quickly as possible.

We understand the inconvenience of an unplanned outage and we thank impacted customers for their support while repair works continue.”
