Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section
Uisce Éireann customers in Templeetney and surrounding areas may be experiencing disruptions to their water supply due to a pump failure.
This failure, coupled with low reservoir levels, has caused significant supply disruption on the network.
Uisce Éireann customers in the areas of Templeetney, Ballypatrick, Dove Hill, Kylenracey, Ballynahara, Faugheen, Ballyneill, Kiltinan, Drundeal, Priorstown, Kilheffernan Cross, Ormonde Stores, Kilusty, Liasdobber, Ballyrichard, and surrounding areas may experience low pressure or disruption to supply.
Pierce Faherty, Uisce Éireann Technical Operations Lead for Tipperary, assured affected customers that every effort is being made to restore normal supply as quickly as possible. “We understand the impact of an unplanned outage, and we want to thank affected customers for their understanding. Our crews are on site and repairs are expected to be completed later this evening”.
