Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section

Uisce Éireann wishes to advise of a planned water outage which will impact customers supplied by the Ardfinnan Water Treatment Plant on Wednesday 25 June from 6.30am to 12pm. The outage is necessary to facilitate essential works at Ardfinnan Water Treatment Plant.

Customers in Ardfinnan, Goatenbridge, Newcastle, Ballybacon, Grange, Knocklofty and the surrounding areas may be impacted by supply disruptions and reduced water pressure.

Speaking about the essential works, Uisce Éireann’s Pierce Faherty said “We would like to assure affected customers that every effort will be made to reduce the impact of the works and restore the water supply following works as quickly as possible.

“We acknowledge the inconvenience caused by a planned outage and would like to assure affected customers that crews will complete the works as quickly as possible to restore normal water supply.”

Following works, it can take three to four hours for normal water supply to return to all customers as the network replenishes.
