Storm Bram update on Water Supplies across the country

Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section

Uisce Éireann is assessing the impacts of Storm Bram on water and wastewater services. Early reports from our operations team indicate there is minimal impact at this point on water services.

Margaret Attridge, Head of Water Operations with Uisce Éireann, said: “Uisce Éireann had activated its emergency response processes ahead of the storm, including deploying generators at key sites where power outages were likely and ensuring treated water reservoirs were filled in advance to provide additional resilience for customers in high-risk areas.

“These measures are helping to ensure there is minimal impact to customers at this point. As the storm continues to move across the country, Uisce Éireann crews are on the ground monitoring and assessing the impact of the storm and will be working to restore supply as quickly as possible where issues arise.”

We would ask customers impacted by water outages to visit our Supply and Services page or visit our social media channels for updates. We can also be contacted via our 24/7 customer care centre at 1800 278 278.
