Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section

Uisce Éireann crews are responding to a burst water main which has impacted supply to customers in O'Connell Court, Raheen Court, Waterford Road, Clonmel since this morning.

Crews are also investigating a separate issue on the network in the Shronell area of the Galtee regional water supply which is impacting customers across Cullen, Lattin, Limerick Junction, Shronell, and surrounding areas.

Crews are currently working to repair the bursts and restore supply to impacted customers as quickly as possible. To ensure the safety of the crews carrying out the repairs and the safety of the public, traffic management will be in place and will be clearly signposted.

Works to repair the burst in Clonmel are estimated to be completed by 4.30pm this afternoon. Typically, it takes three to four hours following repairs for normal supply to be restored to all affected customers.
Works to repair the burst in the Shronell are estimated to be completed tomorrow evening (Sunday) with supply returning from 6pm.

To support customers in the Shronell area alternative water supplies will be in place this afternoon, at
•    Lattin village
•    Cullen village
•    Limerick Junction
•    Deerpark nursing home Shronell

Customers are reminded to use their own containers when taking water from the tanker and to boil water before consumption as a precautionary measure.

Uisce Éireann’s Pierce Faharty thanked impacted customers for their understanding as we work to resolve these separate issues.
“We understand the inconvenience of unplanned outages and we thank customers for their support while our works continue,” said Pierce.
