Planned water outage due to take place in North Drogheda
Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section.
Uisce Éireann is carrying out essential works to the water network in North Drogheda. To facilitate these works, a water outage is necessary.
The works will take place from 10am to 4pm on Thursday, 14 August and may result in supply disruptions for Uisce Éireann customers in Newtownstalaban, Beaulieu, Queensbourgh, Baltray, Sheetland Road, Seapoint Road, Termonfeckin Village, Termonfeckin Road and surrounding areas in North Drogheda.
Uisce Éireann’s Sinéad Kennedy has assured affected customers that crews will complete the works as quickly as possible to restore normal water supply. “We acknowledge the inconvenience caused by a planned outage and we thank customers in advance for their patience while we carry out these essential works.”
Typically, it takes two to three hours following repairs for normal supply to restore to all customers. However, it may take longer for normal supply to be restored to customers on higher ground or at the end of the network.
