Planned outage to facilitate water main repair in Coalbrook
Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section
Uisce Éireann wishes to advise of a planned water outage which may impact customers in Coalbrook and surrounding areas. The outage is necessary to facilitate essential water main repair works in the area.
Customers in Coalbrook, Earlshill, Glengoole South, Mardyke, Delaney’s Cross, Lisnamrock, Foilacaim, Kilbraugh, Ballingarry, Ballintaggart, Lickinn, Tinock, Mellison, Graigaman and surrounding areas may experience some disruption to their supply on Thursday, 17 July from 8am to 6pm.
Uisce Éireann’s Anthony Phelan said, “We understand the inconvenience caused by an interruption to supply. Every effort will be made to limit the impact of these essential works, and we would like to thank the community in advance for their patience and co-operation. Following the completion of the works, it can take two to three hours for the normal water supply to return as water refills the network, particularly for those properties on higher ground or at the end of the network.”
