Network improvement works to strengthen water supply in Moate

Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section

Uisce Éireann is progressing targeted network improvements to strengthen the resilience and reliability of the water supply for customers in the Moate area.

As part of this work, Uisce Éireann crews have carried out detailed surveys of the local network and have identified measures that will increase operational efficiencies, build greater resilience into the network and support a more robust and reliable water supply for local homes and businesses.

As the works are implemented, some customers may experience temporary reductions in water pressure on Thursday, 25 June from 9am to 5pm.

Uisce Éireann thanks the community for their patience while these essential upgrades are being carried out. Other network enhancements are planned for the coming weeks and in advance of this Uisce Éireann will communicate clear details to related stakeholders in the area.

Uisce Éireann acknowledges that customers in the Moate area have recently experienced interruptions to their water supply and sincerely apologises for the inconvenience caused.
