Ferndale Road Shankill reopens after repairs completed to burst water main
Crews have successfully completed repairs to a burst water main at Ferndale Road in Shankill and the road has now reopened to traffic.

Uisce Éireann crews have successfully completed repairs to a burst water main at Ferndale Road in Shankill and the road has now reopened to traffic.
An emergency road closure had been granted by Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council and repairs to the burst main were carried out yesterday, Wednesday, and again today, before the road was reopened to traffic at 3.45pm.
Uisce Éireann’s Water Operations Manager, Daniel Kennedy thanked the public for their understanding while the complex repairs were carried out.
“The repairs were conducted as quickly and as safely as possible. We would like to thank all road users for their patience and cooperation while we carried out these essential repair works.”
There was no interruption to water supply while the works were being carried out.
