Essential water upgrade works progress well in Bray

Uisce Éireann is making great progress on the Killarney Road water main replacement project, which will provide a more reliable water supply and reduce high levels of leakage.

To facilitate the connection of newly installed water mains, customers in Killarney Road, Bray and surrounding areas may experience low pressure/water outages on Sunday, 25 January.

Customers may experience intermittent outages/low pressure to their supply from 12pm to 8pm on Sunday

The areas that may be impacted include Killarney Road, The Nurseries, Oldcourt, Giltspur Wood, Giltspur Brook and surrounding areas.

Uisce Éireann’s Nicola Butler said: “We are thrilled to be at the final stages of this project and while we understand the inconvenience caused by an interruption, we are working closely with our contractor GMC to reduce the impact of these works on homes and businesses. Our teams will work to restore the water supply as quickly as possible. We understand the impact that outages can have on customers and would like to thank the local community in advance for their patience and co-operation during the works to facilitate the delivery of the project.”
