Essential overnight water restrictions in Tralee town
Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section
Uisce Éireann is advising customers in Tralee town that nighttime supply restrictions are required to conserve water and maintain a daytime supply. From 9pm tonight until 9am tomorrow, restrictions will be in place to allow Scart Reservoir in Farranfore, Lissarboola Reservoir in Farmer’s Bridge and Lisloose Reservoir in Tralee town time to replenish.
During this time, customers in Tralee town which includes Monavalley, Rock Street, Princess Street, Denny Street, Mitchels, Moyderwell, Clash, Cloghers may experience interruptions to supply, or reduced water pressure. Uisce Éireann’s, Operations Manager, Charlie O’Leary said: “We understand the inconvenience nighttime restrictions can cause to our customers; however, given the high summer demand and recent significant bursts, we need to ensure supply has time to catch up with demand. We are also asking customers to be mindful of their water usage during the daytime.”
