Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section
Uisce Éireann has completed repairs to a burst watermain in Bennettsbridge, with water supply now returning to customers in Annamult, Danesfort, Bennettsbridge and surrounding areas.
Uisce Éireann’s Shane Aylward thanked customers for their patience while the works were carried out. “We understand the disruption that unplanned outages can cause, and we would like to thank customers for their cooperation while crews worked to repair the burst. Our crews worked as quickly as possible to restore supply to the area,” said Shane.
It typically takes two to three hours following the completion of repairs for normal supply to be restored to all customers. However, it may take longer for customers at the end of the network or on higher ground as the system gradually recharges.
