Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section

Uisce Éireann crews are responding to a burst water main which is affecting supply to customers in the Turlough area of Castlebar this afternoon.

Uisce Éireann customers in the Turlough Road and Turlough areas will be affected by supply disruptions this afternoon as a result of this unplanned outage.

Crews are currently mobilising to the site of the burst and repairs will commence shortly. It is estimated that repairs will be complete by approximately 7pm this evening.

Colette Scahill of Uisce Éireann said crews will work as quickly as possible to isolate and replace the burst main, and restore normal supply for affected customers.

“We understand the impact of an unplanned outage on our customers and we assure those impacted that every effort is being made to restore normal supply as quickly as possible,” said Colette.

“We wish to thank impacted customers for their patience while repairs are being carried out.”
