Crews are working to restore supply to customers in Lucan and surrounds
Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section
Uisce Éireann is working to restore normal water supply to homes and businesses in Lucan and the surrounding area, including Lucan Shopping Centre, Griffin Village, and the Hayden Park area, following damage to a large water main caused by a third party strike.
Water service crews are on site and are working to return supply to affected customers as quickly as possible, but due to the complexity of the location and nature of the damage, it may take some time before full water service is restored.
Daniel Kennedy, Uisce Éireann said: “We understand the inconvenience caused by unplanned outages, and we thank customers for their support. Every effort is being made to restore a normal water supply as soon as possible.”
To ensure the safety of the crews carrying out the repairs to the burst and the safety of the public, traffic management will be in place and will be clearly signposted.
