Planned outage to facilitate essential works in Kilmore

Uisce Éireann is advising customers in the Kilmore Road area of a planned disruption to their water supply tomorrow, Saturday, 7 November, to facilitate essential connection works in the area.

Uisce Éireann customers in the Cromcastle Road and Castlekevin Road areas of Dublin 5 will experience a disruption to their water supply, while customers in surrounding areas may experience low pressure. The works will take place from 10am until 5pm.

Keith Conmy, Water Operations Manager in Uisce Éireann, said that crews will work to complete the works as quickly and safely as possible, while causing as little disruption as possible to local residents.

“We understand the frustration that planned outages can cause for our customers, and we wish to assure impacted customers that all efforts will be made to complete the works and restore full supply as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience these essential works may cause and thank customers for their patience and understanding.”

Typically, it can take three to four hours for normal supply to be fully restored to all properties after a planned outage. Customers located at the end of the network or on higher ground may experience longer restoration times as the system recharges.
