What should I do about my results?

You do not always need to take action when there is an exceedance. After we carry out a risk assessment, we’ll issue a notice if there is any problem with consuming your water. Otherwise, you can continue to use your water as usual.

We will issue this notice when harmful bacteria are found in a water supply. Boiling the water will make it safe to drink.

We will issue this notice if the chorine used to disinfect drinking water has not had enough contact time to work.
